I am Emily King, an experiential designer and graduate of the Exhibition and Experience Design program at the Fashion Institute of Technology, with a multidisciplinary background spanning architecture, planning, and preservation. My work explores the intersection of creative placemaking, product and graphic design, urban planning, landscape architecture, and storytelling, shaping my belief in the transformative power of design to evoke emotion, provoke thought, and inspire change.
Rooted in the idea that design addresses societal needs, my work balances aesthetics with functionality, ensuring innovative, user-centric, and sustainable solutions. For me, design is more than creation; it is a medium for storytelling, dialogue, and global impact.
I strive to craft immersive narratives that connect people, encouraging engagement, reflection, and reimagination of the world around them. Looking ahead, I am committed to collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous learning, ensuring my designs remain meaningful and relevant. Whether through spaces that tell compelling stories or experiences that challenge perspectives, I aim to leave a lasting impact, reminding us that design is not just about what we make but the difference we make.
